Temperature, as a basic physical quantity, is not only the most common used and important in the production process but also the most widespread and widely used in measuring parameter in agriculture, industry and all kinds of high and new technology for development and research. The application frequency of temperature measuring technology is one of the highest in modern testing technology. Along with the development of science and economy, the thermometry and temperature measurement technology has made considerable progress in our country, and in turn pushes up the progress of science and technology. With the development of information technology, and the widely used of sensing technology, the kinds of the thermomete is more and more, making temperature testing technology to automation, intelligent direction.Following the development of virtual technology and application, not only makes temperature measurement more convenient in data acquisition, processing, display, transmission and storage, etc, but also has a significant breakthrough in terms of generality.The paper studies many kinds of common temperature measuring instrument which are made of different temperature sensors. According to the work principle and the application field of temperature measuring instruments, combined with the virtual instrument technology development, the multi-functional temperature measurement virtual instrument is programed finally. The main contents of the paper includes several aspects as follows:Firstly, based on a large number of technical material both at home and abroad, this paper analyses the development of temperature measurement technology at home and abroad in recent years, also the current situation of the development of the virtual instrument technology and development trend, illustrates the temperature measurement technology in the practical application of importance. Meanwhile, in this paper, the research direction and the research content is laid to the foundation.Secondly, analyses the various types of highlighted.it characteristics and working principle and the characteristics of Lab VIEW virtual instrument technique, choose several typical highlighted, as the research object, and combined with Lab VIEW virtual instrument development platform, determine the technical characteristics of virtual instrument development programs.determine the amount of virtual instrument development programs.Thirdly, set up a mathematical model of temperature sensors, and then use the Lab VIEW software to all sorts of different types of sensor respectively, temperature measurement modules design development. Make it realize the temperature measurement function and the compatibility of different sensors.Fourthly, the integration of programs, many temperature measurement modules organic combining together, make its realize the function of temperature data collection, analysis, processing, display and storage etc.Finally, the virtual instrument temperature measurement and data analysis, simulation analysis and error analysis and optimization program. Verifying the feasibility of virtual instrument and optimization program.In this paper, the virtual instrument is designed with a intuitive interface, and it is convenient and practical, man-machine interactive is easy; The virtual instruments in temperature measuring methods is not only adopted general querying method, but also established temperature measurement mathematical model for different temperature sensor. It can solve well the temperature sensor temperature characteristics of nonlinear problem and reduce the temperature measurement error. The virtual instrument’s structure is clear, it is easy to modification parameters, the second development is easy. In temperature measurement of versatility and open stronger. Leading to versatility and open in temperature measurement. Storaging, transmission and real-time processing and offline analysis measuring data can be realized.Making full use of the computer hardware resources, it can be added temperature feedback and adjustment system.
