Study On Virtual Instrument Of Vehicle Measurement & Analysis System

With the development of automobile industry and the drastic competition of market, many automobile manufacturers have been carrying out a lot of experiments and study continually in order to enhance the quality of production and inventing new production. So more and more automobile experiment instruments are required. At the same time, with the development of computer hardware and software, virtual instrument has become the developing tendency of measurement field. In this paper the use of the advantage of virtual instrument are made to develop the test system of automobile dynamic property and smoothness.First, the automobile experiment, the development of measurement instrument and virtual instrument technology are priefly introduced. Second, the measurement ways of automobile dynamic property and measurement instruments are analyzed. The design of the automobile dynamic property virtual instrument measurement system is explained in particular way. This system is a measurement and analysis system virtual instrument that can run in Microsoft Windows 2000 and base on PC as hardware workbench, laboratory virtual instrument workbench (LabVIEW) as development software, essential sensor, signal conditioner and data acquisition card. Data acquisition, signal transaction and display can be achieved in the system. Last expound the development of automobile smoothness measurement system are expounded.The automobile dynamic property and smoothness measurement system of this thesis are embodied in the modular programming theory and compose a whole measurement system with vibration measurement and analysis system virtual instrument. The experiment result has proved that the method has a good expansibility and high cost performance, easy to develop, fit for use of engineer.
