As the continuous development of information technology, the temperature which means the degree of cold and hot is basic physical quantity. The demand of temperature measurement is more and more nowadays, but how to realize a measurement method which is stable, high precision, fast, convenient, small volume is a research hotspot. As the Internet of things is booming, the temperature measurement will be an essential physical parameters to contribute to the world.The quartz crystal temperature sensor is a kind of temperature-frequency conversion device. It has the advantage of high accuracy, good stability, and low power consumption characteristics. It senses the temperature with the crystal oscillator frequency change. The quartz crystal temperature sensor is made using special cutting process, which makes the temperature is linear to the oscillation frequency. The quartz crystal sensor has good digital signal regulating function, good stability and anti-noise of direct digital output, and doesn’t need the ADC sampling circuit. Thus increasing the accuracy and achieving high resolution and high accuracy of temperature measurement. Quartz crystal temperature sensor will develop as the progress of materials science, the cutting theory and technology.This article explains the cutting principle of quartz crystal temperature sensor firstly, and discusses the temperature characteristic of Y-cut quartz crystal. Secondly discusses the temperaturefrequency curve by equations, then designs a quartz crystal oscillation circuit. Due to the output of the sensor is frequency, so designs a set of hardware system based on microprocessor to measure it. In order to display the measurement results intuitively, transmitting the data via Bluetooth(BLE4.0) to the computer. The software programming in the PC based on the LabVIEW which to display the measurement data in real-time. Practice shows that the design of multichannel quartz crystal temperature measuring system has the advantage of practical, portable, low power consumption, high accuracy, and can realize remote measurement based on Bluetooth where the human cannot enter, like complex industrial occasions.
