Especially，In the21stcentury, with China’s accession to WTO, the level of urbanization was continuouslyimprove，and the national economy continued to develop rapidly by the degree ofinternationalization has been higher and higher, but at the same time, security of thecity water supply become increasingly prominent, therefore, strengthen the security ofcity water supply was became our top priority.Wenzhou as a rapid economic development city, and its water supply has madegreat progress since The P.R.C founded, but there are a lot of problems in watersupply. The purpose of this paper is to make further research of Wenzhou city watersupply, analyzes their reasons and to propose solutions and suggestions.This paper analyses and summarizes the research on the safety of water supply ofdomestic and international scholars, then Analyze theoretical about the city watersupply as a quasi public goods, and the introduction of regional water supply andwater treatment theory and public crisis management theory, which provides atheoretical basis for the analysis and proposed solutions to solve the safety problem ofWenzhou city water supply. This paper first analyzes the current situation of Wenzhou city water supplycapacity and demand, water supply, water environment. By using the statisticalinvestigation and consult literature method, Describes the water supply situation ofWenzhou city that the shortage of water supply capacity and demand of Wenzhoucity’s growth and sustainable utilization of the main drinking water source. And fromfour aspects which is the shortage of water resources has constrained economicdevelopment, water pollution problems seriously affect the social stability, reservoirwater lack of unified security management and water supply emergencies highlightedcrisis management deficiencies, to find the problems and difficulties of Wenzhou citythat water supply safe water shortage, water pollution, water management, publiccrisis management deficiencies. Discuss the problems of Wenzhou city water supplysafety. Secondly, analyzed the specific reasons of water content from the Wenzhouwater resource shortage, water shortage, the engineering shortage of water, andanalyzed the specific reasons of water quality from a source of water management,water supply pipe network, sewage treatment capacity, monitoring method, andanalyzed the specific reasons of water protection from management agencies, thesense of crisis emergency disposal.
