The Chinese classical garden is an important carrier of culture, and also a distinctive set of specific places with nature and humanity in one. The scholar garden was an essential type of Chinese classical gardens, and it was the spiritual home for scholars. Landscape poetry, the most noteworthy art form in the landscape literature, depicted the beauty of natural landscape meticulously and vividly, with far-reaching artistic conception. During the Wei, Jin and Southern and Northern Dynasties, scholars were highly conscious of literature and art. Especially in the Six Dynasties, the landscape aesthetic consciousness was awakening, thus contributing not only to the prosperity of the scholar bureaucrat gardens, but also to the prosperity of landscape poems.The scholar bureaucrat gardens and landscape poems had produced very important relationship in the Six Dynasties, and eventually formed a very important interaction. The results of academic studies on the landscape of the scholars are very rich, and there are also many works of landscape poems, but the study of their relationship is not much, this paper attempts to explore the relationship between the two, from a different perspective—the special historical background and environment of the Six Dynasties.Firstly this paper analyzes the prosperity of scholar bureaucrat gardens and landscape poetry during the Six Dynasties, and then discusses the important connection between the scholar bureaucrat gardens and landscape poems, namely the intrinsic link between the two and their interactive relationship. They had internal relations, including natural and human causes, natural reason was that the superior natural environment of the south of the Yangtze River Region, humanistic reasons lied in the prosperity of landscape aesthetics and the pursuit of poetic dwelling; relationship focused performance for both social and cultural significance, that was, the two worked together to promote the development of other forms of landscape art and worked together to enrich and improve the scholar bureaucrat culture system. The interaction between the two included two aspects:on the one hand, the scholar bureaucrat gardens landscape poetry provided suitable landscape environment and enrich the contents of the landscape poetry; on the other hand, landscape poetry creation for the gardening art of the scholar bureaucrat gardens in the garden provided reference, guidance and promotion for the matured, personalized and refined the recluse culture of the scholar bureaucrat gardens.
