The Comparative Research Of Sightseeing Experience Of Landscape Paintings And Corresponding Gardens In The Song Dynasty

Gardens is one of the most important part in Chinese traditional culture, and scholars at home and abroad speak very highly of the form of Chinese gardens. In the Two Song Dynasties, Chinese culture and education developed rapidly,gardens were completed from entirety to details in a internal closed space. Therefore, gardens in the Two Song Dynasties were much more delicate than other periods in Chinese history, gardens already had developed to mature condition at that time. The other reason of the gardens in the Song Dynasties are in the top of the gardens history is the interinfiltration between landscape paintings and gardens, it is good for the development of modern landscape that the researches of the relationship between the landscape paintings and the gardens. Further, in the development period of landscape paintings in the Song Dynasties, both the external expression and internal accumulation of aesthetic theory have positive effect to the development of gardens, the development of landscape paintings in the Song Dynasties also record the history of the gardens ’ development. Gardens, buildings, flowers,rivers, stones even humans are always appeared in the landscape paintings, those elements and information have positive effect to our research.My researches start from landscape paintings in the Song Dynasties with the historical material of gardens and paintings, then connect to the research of gardens in the Song Dynasties. The paper is discussed by a special method of “ words, terms, sentences ”. First, there is a comparative research of single elements which from landscape paintings in the Song Dynasties and the space structure of corresponding gardens such as flowers and rivers. Then, the space structures of landscape paintings in the Song Dynasties and the space structure of corresponding gardens are discussed by the ways of“possession and disclosure” and “virtual and actual”.At last, the paper relates the discusses to spatial scenes and philosophical connotation step by step, how people in the Song Dynasties set their emotion and culture to gardens and how we can feel those connotation and culture from the garden landscape are discussed in my paper. The purport of experience and culture of gardens in the Song Dynasties drives the gardens to the top of Chines gardens history,the development of Chinese modern landscape is also treated a lot by the purport. Therefore, Chinese modern landscape could be defined by a new road of Chinese Characteristics which come from the experience of gardens in the Song Dynasties.
