Rotary drilling rig chassis welding frame and main hoist is the key component of a drilling rig, which the quality of the structure related to the superior performance of the whole machine. Different manufacturers, chassis structure and the structure of the main hoist rig using different models is also inconsistent. Conventional T-type structure and the main winch bolted chassis structure there are some disadvantages, Therefore, they need to be optimized to improve the overall performance of rotary drilling rig. This paper analyzes the T-type structure and the main winch bolted chassis structural deficiencies in the actual working conditions, In the main hoist H chassis structure and pin connections instead of the inadequacies of the aforementioned structure.First of all, Taking the rotary drilling rig chassis and main winch, optimized for the study of the structure of them. According to rotary drilling rig working condition, Determine the stress state of the chassis and the main winch limit operating conditions,Using Creo 3D modeling software,Finite element structural analysis software modules ANSYS to optimize its structure. Second, the combination of structural mechanics and main winch actual working conditions, analyzed theoretically limit bolted and pinned main winch stress state is calculated using a safety factor of comparison between the two.3 study on H type structural components under different working conditions are less than themaximum strain of the T type structure, the safety coefficient of pin connection of main hoist is far greater than the bolt connection The results showed that:In the limit of working conditions, H-type structure chassis is more secure than T-type structure chassis, Main winch safety factor of the pin is larger than connections bolted safety factor.
