Rotary drilling rig is a large engineering equipment which is widely used to pilefoundation. rotary drilling rig can dill the soil, pebble bed, rock, etc.it has a goodadaptability for different geological engineering in most regions of our country. Withthe Infrastructure construction is very hot in our country now, rotary drilling rig as ahigh-power engineering machinery in the construction of pile foundation become alarge number of project owner’s king James construction equipment, energy savingcontrol technology application in rotary drilling rig also has attracted much attention.rotary drilling rig has two main working device which is power head system and mainwinch system. the main purpose of main winch system is raising movements andlowering movements as well as in the process of drilling to ensure floating function.Due to the quality of the drill tool is very big, and during the process of drilling, theaction of raising and lowering is very frequent, which release a large amount ofgravitational potential energy. Lots of gravitational potential energy in the form ofthermal energy consumption in balancing valve throttle valve, which caused themultiple effects, not only the waste of energy, the increase of heat load in the system,but also reduced the service life of hydraulic components, and also have a big impacton the operating performance of the system. based on this, this article adopted arecovery method which use the secondary components pump/motor with energystorage element hydraulic accumulator to recycle the gravitational potential energy ofdill tool in the process of raising and lowering. The main research contents of thisarticle are as follows:1、Established a rotating drill main winch potential energy recycling hydraulicsystem diagram,combining with the main lifting system of the rotating drill hydraulicloop form (open), the main winch circuit that is controlled by the valve and thesecondary components pump/motor with energy storage components of hydraulicaccumulator, and expounds its working principle of the concrete. Establish the mathematical model of the constant power variable pump, accumulator, windingmotor based on the potential energy recovery system.2、For establish AMESim model of the main components which included loadsensitive pump, simulated load and balance valve of the potential energy recoverysystem. determine the value of the balance valve throttle aperture,spring stiffness andthe parameters of the flow area through the simulating performance of the throttleaperture, spring stiffness, the flow area of the influence of balance valve,which isprepared for the subsequent analysis of the potential energy recovery system.3、The gravity potential energy released to the traditional rotary drilling rig in theprocess of decentralization were calculated in Matlab,the conclusion was the releaseof potential energy is considerable.The simulation model of the energy recoverysystem in the traditional rotary drilling rig were established.4、Used the energy control strategy based on logic threshold, determinedreasonable logic threshold parameters, and according to the demand for power andthe established logic threshold parameters to select the work mode, by adjusting theengine and the second component of hydraulic pump/motor torque and rotationalspeed to realize energy recovery and make the engine work in the best economic zone.The simulation results show that the energy control strategy based on logic thresholdof recovery system of fuel economy is improved compared with traditional structure.
