Research On Defense Safety Design Of Building Outside Environment Of Dong Feng Street In Chang Chun

Following the development of city and the population growth, city safety issues have becoming increasingly prominent, urban security problems was gradually exposed, and this becoming a part of the environmental design which cannot be ignored. No doubt, defense safety design is a significant part to create a harmonious society which needs to be treated and solve seriously. It is a bounden duty for designers to create a secure living environment for residents in contemporary society.The FAW district is a comprehensive area contains industrial area, residential areas,commercial areas, education and medical area and other elements, architectural forms and types in both sides of Dong Feng Street is the most representative. The defense security point of view, Dong Feng Street has distinct characteristics and representative with its abundant building types, unified layout form, interspersed streets and the segmentation of public spaces.In this dissertation, I take Dong Feng Street as a case study. Base on the investigation of different types of representative buildings in both side of Dong Feng Street to find the hidden environmental safety problems and point out the feasible solutions to this problem which is trying to combine the “CPTED” theory with Chinese situation. In this dissertation, the defense security design is though the improving the condition of crime, reduce potential of opportunities and motivation of crime to avoid or reduce the hurt of victims.This dissertation divided into four parts:The first part is introduction. This part will mainly introduce the research background, research purpose, the significance of this research, research review and the main contents, research methods and theoretical framework.The second part mainly discusses the criminal psychology, environmental psychology, environmental criminology, through environmental design to prevent crime, urban easy criminal space and other subject and theory connect with building external environment security. Introduce the building external environment security base on this theory, and the limitations of the theory is also be analyzed.The third part, through field investigates of buildings on both side of Changchun Dong Feng Street, and select urban easy criminal space theory as the theoretical basis to analyze the problems of the external building environment and security issues in this area.The fourth part I will use "crime prevention through environmental design" theory as the guide to sum up the strategy and method of external building environment security design of both sides of Changchun Dong Feng Street.The promotion of "CPTED" strategy in China needs to combine with local conditions to open a new path in with Chinese national conditions. Through the environmental design to reduce the crime rate and improve the life quality of residents, to adapt to the social development and provide a strong security for the people’s property, to provide the design basis for the design of the defense security of external building environment.
