Research On Defense Safety Design Of Building’s Outside Environment Around Urban Isolated Islets

The isolated islet studied in this thesis is one of the locations in the city that produce isolated poverty. It has a special environment that easily affect the defense safety of the citizens around it because of several latent dangers resulted from the long absence of human control. It’s a special environment which has latent dangers to the citizens around it due to its long absence of human control. The defense safety design is a valuable study as it just began in C hina and there are fewer study on isolated islet. This thesis analyzes and studies the three representative isolated islets based on the survey of the isolated islets in Changchun city. We can build safe environment and improve our citizens’ life quality through strategies like the improvement of outside environment of buildings around the isolated islet and the decrease of incitements to crime.The first chapter is the introduction which mainly talks about the background of this study, the main purpose of this study and the current situation of this study both at home and abroad. It also sorts out the frame of this thesis according to the main content and methods of the study. The second chapter is a pillar of the theories studied in this thesis. It summarizes the relative theories and practices. The third chapter sums up the problems related to the defense safety design of the building’s outside environment of the three representative isolated islets through the survey on the islets and the analysis of the relationship between the islets and the building’s outside environment. The fourth chapter puts forward relevant design strategies to those problems:1. On the defense safety problems of the venues, this thesis suggests design strategies such as rational activity route design, the relocation of activity appliances, the establishment of defensible venues and the increase of natural supervision level of the venues.2. On the defense safety problems of the transportation system, this thesis puts forward design strategies like untied parking plan, the modification to eliminate for blind spot, the improvement of density of road network and rational vehicle control system.3. On the defense safety problems of space sphere, this thesis suggests design strategies such as moderate decrease of entry and exit, the importance of border and entry design, the establishment of space sphere and the improvement of space layers.This thesis provides defensible measures to address city crime problems based on the investigation and application of defense safety design of the outside environment of the buildings around the isolated islets in Changchun city. We can effectively reduce crime and then create a good city residence environment through the improvement of building’s outside environment.
