Study On Application Of Green Decoration Materials In Hotel Design

As the symbol of life, green contains vitality and vigor and is full of infinite hope. Green decoration is just a kind of nature-based embodiment and is also the true source of the health of people. The pace of human pursuit for green and healthy living environment has never stopped, especially in contemporary times when the living environment becomes worse and worse. Indoor environment is an indispensable and important part of the human, and the quality of indoor environment has a self-evident importance for our life. Green indoor environment can not only benefit our health, but also can provide positive energy for our life. At present, green building decoration materials have come into our sight quietly. As greenization has the least impact on the natural environment, green building decoration materials have owned strong vitality since the beginning of their appearance.Building decoration materials are the material basis for the outward manifestation of the buildings. Although building decoration materials depend on the framework and space of the buildings, they can show the buildings to the people in a straightforward way. Meanwhile, the quality of building materials affects the people’s indoor environment directly. With building materials getting more and more attention of the public in recent years, the designers have gradually focused on the selection and use of the materials in their design. At the same time, the academic researches on building materials have sprung up like mushrooms.In this paper, starting with green building decoration materials, the author deeply analyzes the properties, application principle, problems, decorative effect and decorative effect of the building materials through combination with current situation of application of green building decoration materials. Meanwhile, the author discusses the development direction of green materials and their influence on building decoration design, summarizes the role green materials have played in the building decoration design so as to lay a foundation for the widespread use of green building materials.Then, with the above-mentioned performance and role analysis of the green materials as the basis, the author analyzes the classification of materials and specific materials used in the decorative surfaces of the hotel. Different decorative surfaces in the hotel have different functions, so the selection of decoration materials according to different decorative surfaces is particularly important. However, the different feeling and atmosphere formed by different decoration materials have outstanding performance in the materials selection of the hotel.At last, the author makes case analysis on the decoration project of Beijing Sunrise East Kempinski Hotel. Through comprehensive analysis of the project’s main design idea, overall design layout and the green decoration materials used in different decorative surfaces, etc., the author summarizes the general features of application of green materials in the hotel decoration. Besides, the author displays the characteristics and application of green materials visually through the interior decoration design of the decoration project of Beijing Sunrise East Kempinski Hotel, and brings visual enjoyment to people so as to better grasp the material properties, visual effects, application scope and artistic expression of the green materials.
