With the rapid economic development, the shortage of energy and excessive dependency on imported energy become two serious problems in China. To change the growth mode from extensive to intensive is imperative. In order to improve energy efficiency, Companies in different industries desired to cooperate with others, which also makes the complexity and extend of the project become a trend. It became a broad consensus that we can solve the problems of economic, social, livelihood and the environment by investing in more large-scale projects. These years, many of Chinese major cities have started their subway construction plan. The projects with spatial constraints such as subway construction are becoming a hot topic, which also catch much attention of many scholars. But so far, the academic research on spatial constraints is difficult to find, especially for large-scale complex projects.In order to solve scheduling problems of large-scale complex projects, this thesis points out that it differs from the general large-scale projects by characterizing the structure of its schedule network. Links between subprojects in large-scale complex projects are not all in one mode, which lead to a complex network structure. Analyze the complexity of the schedule network from four aspects diversity, dynamic, global and openness. Taking into account the number of large-scale complex projects’activities, which affect a large number of weak overall project activity, directly using the most critical path method to identify key chain is likely to directly affect the activity of construction period is not there. After verifying the infrastructure projects in line with the characteristics of complex networks, according to the characteristics of complex networks gives an improved definition of key chains proposed method for calculating node important degree, then the importance of the node based on the edge reassigned update. Look for the network diagram key chain in the renew network, and add the project buffer, feeding buffer and resources buffer to it. Further consideration of large-scale complex projects with spatial constraints, due to the project in a limited space often have multiple activities in parallel, while in restricted space observation security status of the project is also limited, which might lead to accidents. So transfer the spatial constraints into tandem relationship of the network is a way to solve this problem. Distinguish the activities that can not be parallelized and create a serial rule according to the principles of the two conditions for the shortest duration.This thesis is an exploration to find a way to schedule a large-scale complex project with spatial constraints. An improved method for seeking the critical chain of large-scale complex project is designed. And it also creates a new idea for scheduling management of a large-scale complex project with spatial constraints by renewing the schedule nets following some rules base on the spatial constraints.
