Research On Function Construction And Spatial Configuration Of Advanced Business Park

With the development of headquarters economy, companies separate the general office and production departments in space, and set their headquarters in some big cities and districts, in order to improve their overall competitiveness. The “Advanced Business Park”(ABP) arises at the moment for this requirement. Due to the “Advanced Business Park” are still in early stage, and there is no standard for this kind of project, This leads to many repeated constructions and causes emerged issues on functional structure and spatial arrangement. To solve these issues, this article is studying in the following aspects.1. The article starts from the concept of headquarters economy, and defines the concept of “Advanced Business Park” on the basis of relevant theoretical research in china and abroad.2 Then, through comparative analysis of foreign Business Park on their development process and practice, the article summaries up successful experiences on the aspects of function construction and spatial configuration. Besides, the article systematically analyzes reasons that ABP springs up and the present situation of ABP constructions, presents the problems existed in the aspects of function construction and spatial configuration in China.3 Basis on the factors of the park’s function construction, including external and internal factors, the article analysis the park’s function composition and summaries up the models of function layout.4 At last, the article conducts in-depth analysis on the spatial configuration of ABP, including individual elements of composition configuration, techniques of spatial layout and designing strategies of spatial configuration.The research in the article uses vertical and horizontal comparison in related types between domestic and foreign. Through conducting theoretical analysis and practice research on the construction of ABP, this paper demonstrates the strategies of ABP in the aspects of function construction and spatial configuration in a systematic and comprehensive manner. Through the analyzing of function and spatial in ABP, the paper hope to provide abundant reference materials for related research, design and construction.
