A school’s environment as a whole is divided into the building interior space and exterior environment space, which we call the campus outdoor environmental space.This paper mainly studies the middle school campus outdoor environment space design. The environment mentioned in this paper is refers to the campus outdoor space environment.In an age of advanced information networks and electronic products popular.Most of the educational and teaching activities seems to have moved from the actual place to simulate the screen.Digital communication has appeared in almost every campus.Teacher-student discussion and entertainment needs of advanced electronic equipment. So that there have been many "home".Traditional campus environment construction cannot meet the present day campus users.Lots of outdoor space will not be like and not be use,with the result that it is abandoned.Campus environment does not serve an educational function.In this paper,mainly from mining the impact factors of middle school students on campus, emotional change. With a focus on the emotional needs of the students. Verified by research to construct a system of students’emotional needs.Analyze the necessity of campus "outside the classroom".Abstract emotional needs of middle school students with specific outdoor activities associated with spatial characteristics.Comb the design strategy and innovation.Looking for that space to meet education implemented turn into campus environment to meet means and ways of learning.In this paper, the innovation lies in:Emotional needs of campus users from 13-18 perspective. Study on the spatial characteristics, climate, Adaptive outdoor activities in middle school and secondary school education and so on at the same time, combining of "emotional design" the contents of this field.Included in the campus landscape design of affective factors.Analyze the landscape characteristics of effects on people.On the one hand,establish a new middle school campus planning and design thinking.Emphasize the importance of the "human" and "outside the classroom".On the other hand,expand the use of "emotional design" theory in the domestic.Point out that emotional design for "environmental education" under the background of "quality education" is needed.
