Hot In-Place Recycling technology is not only related to material grading, but also affected by regeneration equipment and process. Suitable and comprehensive recycling process is to determine the key to the success of recycling of asphalt pavement. Because of temperature characteristics is the core of hot in-place recycling, it is meaningful to research the distribution of temperature of asphalt pavement.Hot in-place recycling consists of three main components: the road preheating process; scarifying and mixing process; paving and compaction process. First of all preheating the old asphalt pavement to make it soft and then milling and broken it; recycling machine collects the loose, hot and old material on the road then mixes it in the mixer with adding new agent, new asphalt and new aggregate. Last paving and compaction the new road. Throughout the construction process is closely linked with the temperature. Controlled study of the temperature field for each construction stage in an attempt to achieve the best state can ensure construction quality construction and reducing resource consumption.On the basis of fluid mechanics and heat transfer theory, Paper use numerical analysis software fluent to study three stages: the road preheating process, material rope cooling stage, mixing stage. Through various stages of construction under different conditions of temperature contours and other simulation results and then design the best mechanical configuration.Asphalt aging and regeneration in hot in-place recycling is an eternal topic. Through a combination of methods of laboratory tests and simulation to research the Reduction Mechanism of aging asphalt. Through the different mixing time, at different temperatures, experimental study of different viscosity recycling agent, arrived at a different degree of reduction factors of aging asphalt affected by temperature.After carrying out a large number of laboratory and simulation experiments and draw conclusions, the results are applied mountainous national and provincial trunk asphalt pavement in situ thermal regeneration actual project. The measured temperature in various stages of the process in line with a higher degree of numerical simulation results and the quality of pavement after construction meets the specification requirements.
