The national and provincial trunk highways in mountainous areas play anirreplaceable role in highway network as the important infrastructure in our country. Butthe use of pavement performance is declining with the growth of years. Therefore, itsmaintenance problem attracts more and more concerns by highway builder. At present,the situation of the maintenance becomes larger and larger, bur lacking large amounts ofmoney. In this case, we must reduce the early diseases of asphalt pavement and try todelay the further development of these diseases to prolong the service life of pavementand reduce the maintenance cost. Therefore, when we choose the pavement preventivemaintenance to Mountainous area trunk highway asphalt pavement, it should beaccording to the pavement of the factors such as climate environment, traffic flow andso on. Taking as a kind of mature pavement preventive maintenance, Hot In-placeRecycling Technology accord with the needs of sustainable development ofMountainous area trunk highways. In view of this, the article proposed a research on it.Firstly, this paper discusses the typical early diseases of the trunk highways and itsdevelopment mechanism. Secondly, it makes the summarize, based on the existingresearch, to the construction process. Thirdly, the article points out the suitableconstruction technological process and key points to the Technology in such kind ofenvironment. Finally, the paper make clear that mix proportion design of recycledasphalt mixture and the construction site quality such as whole process of temperatureand thickness of milling planer are the main factors influencing the regeneration asphaltpavement performance. What’s more, the article Use gray correlation analysis method toevaluate the comprehensive performance of the Regeneration asphalt pavement.The results showed that it makes a good technical performance and economiceffect when taking the measure. What’s more, the units only take small area up and havelittle influence on road traffic among the process of construction. Visibly, thetechnology has a positive influence on social development and economic construction.
