Provincial trunk highway of Chongqing countries due to the limitation of the mountainous terrain and insufficient construction funds, widespread route level is low, the lack of traffic safety facilities set up with social motorization level enhances unceasingly, the provincial trunk highway security engineering is imminent. Security engineering capital demand big, however, under the current economic development level, security facilities reconstruction should be in line with "the first evaluation after change, waste, make full use of principle, in the transformation to evaluate existing security facilities, fully reused. In this paper, it is in this background, to Chongqing National and provincial trunk road, trunk highway security facilities set the typical problems and reuse technology for research.First of all, for this study include the state road212lines,210lines,319lines, provincial highway204line, several typical significance to the kingdom of provincial trunk highways in security field research facilities. Analysis of Chongqing National and provincial trunk road, trunk highway commonly used road traffic signs, marking, roadside safety facilities, slowing down the types of security facilities and other security facilities; On this basis, through the field investigation and data collection, a detailed analysis of the setting of roadside protective facilities and traffic sign and marking, intersection access problems such as typical problems existing in current security facilitiesBased on the analysis of National and provincial trunk road, trunk highway security facilities, on the basis of typical problems, through the related research at home and abroad, put forward National and provincial trunk road, trunk highway security engineering general requirements; Analyzed include:sign on recycled, waveform guardrail, reconstruction of intersection safety net and in coordination with driving range such as vegetation in common technical problems; Proposed National and provincial trunk road, trunk highway security reuse engineering evaluation and the transformation process, including assessment and reusing the existing traffic signs the transformation process, waveform guardrail reuse assessment, intersection safety evaluation and retrofit process. Then, draw lessons from domestic and foreign existing road security engineering method, put forward the principle for sign transformation, evaluation methods and recycling process; Forward waveform guardrail modification plan and analyzes the waveform guardrail is heightening the post transformation of efficiency; Conflict is put forward according to the level of access classification standards, from the Angle of the sight guarantee, road house separation puts forward a practical transformation access technology.Finally, the selection of national highway212line in Chongqing on He long to He Yang as application examples of this research. Based on the analysis of the sections before transforming existing problems on the basis of security facilities.
