Innovative Study On The Planning And Design Of Health Tourism Resort

Health is the eternal theme of human life. However, with air pollution getingmuch worse and the food safety problem becoming a new concern of the society,people’s health is suffering more and more threats. Under these circumstances,demand for health is increasing greatly which is also accelerated by the improvedliving standard. Therefore, wellness themed tourism resort has become a new trendything at home and abroad. This kind of resort is usually based on the naturalresources of good quality, and with a reasonable plan of the resource and wellestablished wellness function, profit could be made by helping the consumerregaining their health. Hence, the planning of the wellness themed tourism resort ishighly of importance for it and it boosts great value for the building and operation ofthe resort. In order to further promote the health development of the planning anddesign of ecological tourism resort, this paper will take wellness tourism resortplanning and design as the research subject and starting with illustrating the aimand goal of this study. Based on the literature review of related studies, the authoranalyzes the wellness industry chain and pattern of its development. Also this papergives a portrait of the wellness Eco Resort from the following several aspects,including causes of emerge, characteristics, types and existing problems. Secondly,this paper gives a preliminary understanding of the planning and design of healthtourism Eco Resort, as well as rationalizing the design of health tourism resort,including resort planning concept, principles and objectives, ecological environmentmaintenance, product development, landscape designing and other aspects. Finallya detailed case was analyzed to draw a conclusion thata well designed wellnessthemed resort plays a crucial role in the sustainable development of the resort. Theconclusions of this study will be of significance in guiding the designing andplanning work of the wellness tourism resort.Aslo,this paper could be regarded as ereference to some extent in promoting the health development of the wellnesstourism resort.
