It’s particularly important for signal transmission in smart home environmentmonitoring systems. At present on the market, the majority of systems adopt the cabletransmission route, but as people keeping abreast of the situation on the homeenvironment, real-time information processing and the urgent need for effectivecontrol, it seems that the cable transmission is not so convenient. Combined with thecurrent mature GSM network, it is possible that the management and controlof intelligent household appliances can be realized in the form of short message toachieve security, home air monitoring and alarm functionsAccording to the requirements of the smart home design for people, the smarthome environment monitoring system design is determined. In view of functionalrequirements of the various parts in the system, GSM network module, short messagesending module, wireless remote control module circuit and main function modulescircuit are designed respectively.In the monitoring system based on GSM wireless networks, composition ofcommunication system of GSM network, network architecture of SMS, ATinstruction of short messages are mainly introduced. Combined with demands ofreal-time monitoring of home situation, the SMS short message service functions inGSM is selected to achieve home monitoring of the status.For the Wireless network as a medium in smart home control systems, thesoftware and hardware of GSM wireless communication modules design are given,including design of chip TC35I peripheral circuit, chip initialization and softwaredesign to send and receive short message,which is used to send alarm message andreceive user setting message.Based on the requirements of the smart home environment system in monitoringprocess, the entire system model construction, key chip selection, the relevant circuitdesign and software programs are completed. The initialization debugging of wirelessmodule GSM is realized, debugging method of each functional module of system aregiven to making a whole debugging program, which finish the basic setting functions.
