As the environment and energy problem is increasingly prominent, thedevelopment of NEV (new energy vehicle is paid great attention) by both domesticand overseas government for its characteristics of green, energy conservation andenvironmental protection. It’s very important to establish a stable, reliable and safetytest system for the ability to research and develop three important modules (motor,battery and controller) of new energy vehicle efficiently. A set of reliable dynamic testsystem can be used as a physical simulation platform to provide experimental data forresearch and development in the early period of new energy vehicle development,which can shorten the development time. This paper is mainly focus on the followingwork:Firstly, by the introduction of research background and significance of this paperand analysis of the current NEV development situation of the dynamic test system,the necessity of develop dynamic test system is proposed.Secondly, simulation and modeling of the dynamic system of NEV is proceeded.The main processing is as followed: first of all, automobile dynamic performanceevaluation index is analyzed combined with national standards about dynamic test,and new energy vehicle dynamics model is established, which is the importanttheoretical foundation of the resistance simulation. Then, two important parts of NEVare studied and their power balance equation are analyzed, which is the modelingfoundation of ADVISOR. Finally, the NEV simulation is established. The simulationtarget is dynamic performance evaluation index and simulation vehicle is EJ02.Thesimulation result is close to real vehicle, which validate the correctness of the model.Thirdly, the design requirement and hardware composition of the NEV dynamictest system is introduced and the main content is as followed: first of all, the overalltechnical requirements and the expected function requirements of the test bench areintroduced, and according to this, the hardware structure and connection of the testingsystem is designed. Then, the main control method and the function and maintechnical parameters of hardware are introduced.Fourthly, this paper designed the up-lever computer software of the test systemand the main content is as followed: first of all, the paper completed the software design of PLC, DCS800, ACS800and WT3000and basically realized programfunction. Then, the LabVIEW queue technology and the state machine technology isintroduced, whose advantages are analyzed. Finally, test system software design iscompleted using the technology of queue and state machine in LabVIEW.Fifthly, some test bench test is conducted, and the tests include the step responsetest of motor torque and rotational speed, the motor performance test(motor efficiencytest and motor temperature rise test and so on), and the resistance simulation based ontest bench. During the trial, the test system is stable and reliable and has a quickresponse to control, basically achieved the initial design requirements.
