Using traditional techniques for construction,construction vehicles have big influenceon semi-rigid base of asphalt pavement during construction period,if road open trafficearlier,semi-rigid base can not reach to design strength, it will induced early damage ofpavement structure. According to these phenomenon, this paper proposes a novelconstruction technique-asynchronous continuous paving technologies,it will improve theservice life of semi-rigid base of asphalt pavement.The main content is divided into five parts:(1)Asphalt pavement structure,pavementmaterials and the characteristics of vehicles in the early formation semi-rigid strength wereinvestigated and analyzed.This provides technical parameters for the study of influence ofconstruction vehicles on the structure and semi-rigid base paving program.(2)Throughlaboratory experiments,studying variation of unconfined compressive strength,splittingtensile strength,compressive resilient modulus volume of limestone soil,cement stabilizedcrushed stone, two ash stabilized crushed stone in different mix.(3)Analysis the influence ofaxle load, semi-rigid age, base modulus in the course of asynchronous continuous pavingthrough quantitative software, giving the primary distribution of tensile stress.(4)combinedwith mechanical analysis results,taking the performance of the existing constructionmachinery into account,studying the technology of asynchronous continuouspaving,proposed the program of asynchronous continuous paving of semi-rigid.(5)pavingtest road using asynchronous continuous paving technology and pre-buried strain gauge inthe bottom of the subbase for road base bottom stress testing, while giving comparativeanalysis about economic benefits of the traditional technology and asynchronouscontinuous paving technical,and economic benefits for the asynchronous continuous pavingis obvious.
