Basic Research On The Categorization Of Urban Spatial Interface Of Ming City In Xi’an

Urban spatial interface is the connection between urban space and other things nextto it which not only reflects the difference between two things, but also constitute a directcorrelation between urban elements of urban spatial interface.This treatise designate Ming City in Xi·an as research scope. Ming City History ofthousands of years of development, has a rich historical heritage, better showing a historiccity, due to the diversity and complexity, facing the dual problem of protection anddevelopment at the same time. Ming City has a very high research value, but also playsan important role in helping us to study city space interface type of process.This treatise uses the method of inductive and deductive analysis, through literaturereading, field investigation, chart, comprehensive analysis, investigation and study ofXi’an Ming city space interface. According to related theory in the field of city design,the first concept of city space interface are defined, and the development of itscharacteristics, analysis, combined with domestic and foreign relevant research theory,establish the overall understanding of the foundation of the research on city spaceinterface type. Then set up the reasonable research framework of Xi’an City, the Mingcity space interface is divided into time, social, cognitive and form four dimensionsfurther type of basic research.Then, through the literature review of the evolution of city space interface analysisof Ming City and contemporary information, to research the information obtained by field visits, image recording and actual state of research, in the city planning, design andconstruction related background knowledge based research framework of multi-level,multi angle information induction and consolidation.Finally, exert the method of typology to induct and summerize the sub system ofMing City urban spatial interface of categorization basic research framework in Xi·an,with long span and wide diachronic synchronic perspective, in-depth analysis andsummary on the different city space interface types, to explore the deep meaning behindthe city space interface type.Through the above analysis and research, aims to make readers have a moreprofound understanding of city space interface, Xi’an City, and to provide reference forthe research of city space interface. In order to guide the city design and city construction,provides the methods and countermeasures for the protection of the Ming City proper andand development.
