Landscape Analysis And Evaluation Of City Skyline In East Bank Of West Lake In HangZhou

With the rapid economic development and modernization, the high-rise buildings build along the east bank of west lake in Hangzhou, have made the city skyline changed much more. The color, size of the building do not harmonize with the surroundings, this make larger negative impression to the cultural heritages of west lake. Around west lake we know, the lake is surrounded by hills on three sides, the east of the lake is city proper, but now this pattern has been greatly change during the process of modernization.The article first reading the concept of the city skyline, analysis and research the theories and examples at home and abroad, in order to lay a solid foundation for follow-up study; then though further study to research the core humanistic value of west lake, history of the lake and city development, gradually deduce the aesthetic intention for city skyline in the east bank of west lake; at last, research the city skyline by the method of slice and segmentation, mean while set up aesthetic evaluation system of the city, choose six scenic spots around west lake, to research city skyline in the east bank of west lake by synthetical scored method.We hope through this research can deeply analysis the present situation of the city skyline, so that we can better discover the problem of city skyline in east bank of west lake in Hangzhou. At the same time, in order to protect the cultural heritages, maintain better order, protect arrangement of the west lake, we provide view to optimize the city skyline in east bank of west lake. Thus the city skyline can change orderly with city development, and this make city landscape, natural landscape and human landscape organically and harmonious better mix together.
