Thirty years of reform and opening up, in promoting China’s rapid development of social economy, and accelerated the process of city development, the city is expanding too quickly, many rural surrounded by the city, but still preserving and implementation of rural collective, phenomenon of village in city China characteristics. In late twentieth Century90, the village has become a common phenomenon in many city in china.With the rapid development of city of China, in the construction planning, residential environment, security, social security and management aspects of the village in city is becoming increasingly prominent, the cause great negative impact on the overall image of the city promote rational development and city space resources. Therefore, the reformation of villages in city in urbanization is to promote the city development, improve the people’s living standards, building a harmonious society and the comprehensive construction well-off society, is of great significance.Similarly, village has become one of the difficult problems in Taiyuan City, the economic and social development. Village in the common problems, poor living environment, security risks outstanding, social security, public service and lack of infrastructure, seriously affected the overall image of the city, held Taiyuan city development.In this paper, from the village in city planning strategy, basic research related theory at home and abroad, to study the reconstruction of urban village in Taiyuan City, hoped the research can provide advice and recommendations for the implementation of the future transformation of city village in Taiyuan.
