Many bridges have varying degrees of damage under the action of service loads, resulting in a decline in its bearing capacity and structure function. In recent years, with the rapid growth of traffic and the development heavy-duty vehicles, some bridges even in danger of collapse. Thus, the reinforcement of damaged bridge and the evaluation of reinforcement effect have great significance for bridge safety operation. In this paper, research the reinforcement of existing reinforced-concrete bridge systemic. Firstly, examine the damage of existing bridge, according to the test results determine the reinforcement scheme, implementation of the reinforcement measures; And then according to the load test including two aspects of bearing capacity and dynamic performance test, and get out the effect of reinforcement. The main work is carried out as follows:1. Inductive the damage types of reinforced-concrete bridge and analyze the damage mechanism and influence factors, also analyze the impact to the bridge structure; I summarize general strengthening methods of reinforced-concrete bridge, and also expound the advantages and disadvantages of each method and applicable conditions.2. Inspection of reinforced concrete bridge damage. The superstructure of the reinforced-concrete bridge is the four-span continuous slab bridge. Through the study of the superstructure, substructure, and sub-grade slope overall appearance inspection, according to the rules and regulations of the evaluation standards to evaluate the bridge comprehensively. Based on the evaluation result, the opinion of experts and the reinforcement design standard, to determine the reinforcement scheme. Then according to the calculation standard, to validate the reinforcement scheme is feasible through the theoretical calculation preliminary.3. Evaluate the bearing capacity and work performance of the reinforced-concrete bridge after reinforcement. This article first using Midas/Civil software to establish the initial model, through the calculation of internal force to determine testing section for dead load experimental test; Secondly, carrying out the loading test under the worst-cases of load,to achieve the most unfavorable loading. Finally, correcting FEM model to simulate the dead load experiment test, through comparison between the calculated and measured results from model tests to evaluate the bearing capacity and work performance of the bridge after reinforcement, and to determine the reinforcement effect is obvious.4. The dynamic analysis of reinforced-concrete bridge after reinforcement. Through dynamic test for the strengthened bridge, mainly including running-truck experiment and braking test, to test frequency and damping ratio of bridge structure, and also analyze the dynamic performance of the bridge after reinforcement, verify the validity of the method. Using ANSYS finite element simulation to analyze, and assess the dynamic characteristics of the bridge further, to provide theoretical basis for the evaluation of bridge in the future.
