With the development of highway construction, to meet the demand of wideth of rode, width to span ratio of monolithic reinforced concrete plate bridge is often larger than 1, so its bearing capacity in lengthways and transverse direction must be researched. The type of axis weight of over loading vehicles being analyzed in Xingtai city, basic data of monolithic reinforced concrete plate bridge being consulted, mechanics model is set up. Based on design load in"General Code for Design of Highway Bridges and Culverts (JTG D60-2004)", the confirming method of bearing capacity in lengthways moment is put forwarded.Calculating results of G-M method, rigidity connected beams method and finite element method are analyzed comprehensively, the relation between transvers internal force and Poisson's ratio is sumed up, and the confirming method of bearing capacity in transvers moment is put forwarded. The monolithic reinforced concrete plate bridge with big width to span ratio is two-way force slab, and the transverse force is big. The amount of transverse reinforced steel does not meet the demand of transverse bearing capacity. In design of bridge, transverse internal force could not be ignored to prevent transverse monolithic concrete plate bridge from appearing longitudinal crack.
