In Smart grid and electricity information acquis ition system, communicationtechnology plays an irreplaceable role as a hub of directing, state detection and datatransmission. For micro-power wireless communication of information collectionsystem, the study of micro-power channel characteristics and micro-power wirelesscommunications products detection systems should urgently be studied further, theproducts only to work steady at these environment and with good communicationsperformance can obtain large number of applications. Therefore, in a variety ofcommunications equipment’s evaluation for the electricity side of the communicationperformance, we must establish a scientific and feasible research system to conductqualitative and quantitative research on the performance assessment of variouscommunications products.This paper focuses on the above work on key technologies of micro-powerwireless meter reading research, theory and practice laid the foundation for a widerange of applications and in-depth study of micro-power wireless meter reading. Thispaper, firstly, analyze the micro-power radio channel characteristics of direction ofpower system, through a large number of measured data corrected large scale fadingchannel model, and then analyze the small-scale fading channel characteristics,building model Database, On this basis, we deep analysis the test target ofmicro-power wireless communication products, research and establish the detectionsystem based on hardware, and then through further study of research results, wecompleted the RF performance and protocol testing based on software, virtualinstruments and integrated hardware detection, and establish the correspondingdetection capabilities for the networking part of the test.The test based on channel model database and detection system for micro-powerwireless communication products, It actual verify that the results of this study canwell meet the systematic and professional testing requirements from the level ofoperation and function.
