Design And Implementation For Micro-power Wireless Water Meter Reading System

With the progress of the smart city,the concept of smart water is also gradually being known.Through the data acquisition equipments,wireless network,water meters and other devices,smart water can obtain the state of urban water supply and drainage system in real time.The data collection of water supply information has become one of the most important part.The automatic meter reading system(AMR)is the main way to solve the water information data collection.AMR has many superiorities such as savings in manpower,transferring data with high accuracy.Micro power wireless meter reading technology is an important research and application of AMR,has the advantages of other meter reading methods do not have,such as convenient construction and installation,without too much late maintenance work.It is the development trend of intelligent meter reading in the future.In this paper,the micro power wireless meter reading system facing residential complex environment and other factors in the actual implementation process,carry out the following work: The Wireless communication module uses the spread spectrum communication technology,selects the Lo Ra spread spectrum modulation and demodulation technology.The communication distance of Lo Ra is far more than existing system based on the FSK or GFSK modulation mode in the same working frequency band and transmission power.The system architecture is designed by layered protocol of physical layer,data link layer,network layer and application layer of four layer structure.The wireless meter reading network uses collector s,so that it has the function of relay routing,reduce the power co nsumption of the meter,and save the frozen data.Electrical equipment such as concentrator collector can automatic network.Finally,the design of micro power wireless meter reading system has been tested and verified,the results show that it has the advantages of convenient installation and debugging,stable and reliable operation.The power wireless water meter reading system design has reached the design requirements,to meet the needs of the actual project and market demand.
