The current widespread use of power line carrier meter readingdue to the impact of fluctuations in the power grid and grid load, the meter reading isnot stable enough; some can not even work properly. Wireless meter reading using ashort-range wireless communications technology, the basic factors are not affectedby the power grid, the meter reading is an ideal way, but because of the cost,stability and power consumption issues by limiting the scale wireless meter readingsystem to use. Therefore, the development of a good performance, low-cost,low-power wireless meter reading system has enormous social and economicsignificance.Firstly, this paper researched the wireless meter reading system applicationbackground and practical significance, as well as the development of their home andabroad, then the architecture of wireless meter reading system for the overall design,and were analyzed for each part of the system functions; secondly, finishedconcentrator and short-distance wireless transmission module design system,complete the wireless meter reading function, based on the bottom of the hardwarecircuit costs, optimized for low power design; once again to complete the systemsoftware design, including the underlying hardware module driver automaticnetwork and system programming, maintenance and design of meter readingfunction; Finally, the wireless meter reading system were tested. The results showedthat the design of micro-power wireless meter reading system stable and reliableoperation, high success rate meter, the indicators meet the provisions of the nationalgrid, to achieve the desired purpose of research and design. |
