Study On Plant Landscape In Riverfront Greenway Of Nanchang

Project Greenway in urban·had launched from the winter of2012in Jiangxi province,several cities began to proceed the planning and construction of urban greenway network.Nanchang city is surrounding by intensive rivers and lakes, riverfront greenway systemwill become the important part of the urban green system, and it will be a comfortableecological leisure space for urban residents. Plant landscape is critical to protecting naturalhabitats, relieving urban pollution, creating good recreation environment as the importantcarrier of ecological function, landscape function and service function, and the riverfrontgreenway will be constructed based on existing riverfront park in the city, as a result, plantlandscape will be the key point of riverfront greenway promotion transformation.As the representative plant landscape in riverfront park of Nanchang, the currentsituations of plant landscape in Ganjiang Park and Fuhe Park were studied in detail bymeans of field survey, based on ecology, landscape architecture and aesthetics, the existingshortcomings of plant landscape in the two parks were summarized, and some advices onthe promotion of plant landscape were given.The main results as below:1.Through overall survey，the species and seasonal aspect character of the plants inthe two riverside parks were analyzed. The result showed that in the two riverside parks theratio of the species of indigenous plant applied was higher, but the total amount of thespecies especially the herbage and hydrophyte need improve significantly.2.Through the sample investigation, the quantitative characteristics of the plantcommunity in the sample plot were analyzed. The result showed that a few plants wereapplied repeatedly in the plant community, which cause the simplification of the plantcommunity.3.The plant landscape forms in the5typical areas (borders, forestland, open forestlawn, river bank and benchland) were summarized. The result showed that In the districtdomain the phenomena that the plant landscape forms can’t meet the functionalrequirements almost exist, which have negative effects on the usage experience of thetourists.4.Basing on the conclusions, the study has concluded the deficiency of the tworiverside parks in Nanchang and made some improvement suggestions pointedly. The mainpoint would provide reference for the construction of the plant landscape in the riversideparks of Nanchang.
