Abstract:As the non-renewable energy depletion and environmental pollution increasingly growing, developing new energy positively seems imminent.Wind Power received wide attention in China and the world, with its large amount of wind energy, small environment damage, fast installation speed and short payback period. In recent years, with the development of science and technology and manufacturing, the tower height and single machine capacity of WTGS(wind turbine generator system) are larger than before. As a result, the subgrade-foundation force of wind turbine has become increasingly complex, combined with the immaturity of the theory of wind turbine foundation design, led to a number of the wind turbine collapse accidents, caused a great of economic losses. In view of the above situation, some researches had been studies as follows:(1) Theory and method of foundation design of the wind turbine was expounded. The original plan of wind turbine foundation design was checked and analyzed and the advantage and deficiency of the original design scheme was proposed according to an engineering example.(2) A series of field tests were conducted for researching the subgrade-foundation stress of the wind turbine, including basal static soil pressure test, basal dynamic soil pressure test, basal lateral static soil pressure test, internal reinforced stress test and ground settlement monitoring. Change laws of wind turbine foundation force along with load and time during the construction and running period were obtioned.(3) Based on the finite element simulation software ABAQUS,a three-dimensional model was established, wind turbine force while operating normally at the wind speed of12m/s and14m/s was analyzed and earth pressures, internal reinforced stresses and foundation settlements of the two kind of conditions were obtained. Wind turbine force while operating under the ultimate load was analyzed and earth pressure, internal reinforced stress and foundation settlement were obtained and stability of WTGS of this condition was evaluated. (4) Finite element analysis results were compared with field tests data and difference and its cause between them were analyzed. The outlook for the future was put forward.
