The Improvement Of The Standardization For The Structure Design Of Civil Constructions In X Design Institute

Standardization in the manufacturing sector has been widely and successfully used, its research and application have got many attentions. But for the traditional knowledge-intensive sectors such as architecture design industry whose working object is individual case, copy of the standardized production methods of manufacturing sector can not be successful. Standardization of architecture design industry proceeds primarily in national level, through the enactment of the national standards, the Ministry standards and the local standards. The research of standardization design for the design enterprises is not much.This paper begins with the concepts of standardization and structure design, takes the X Design Institute as an example to introduce the characters and industry status of civil construction enterprises, analyzes the status and the effects of the implementation of standardization of civil design in X Design Institute, finds out the current problems and the deficiencies during the process of the implement the standardization of civil design in terms of execution, design preparation, evaluation, cooperation among different specializations and reviews, puts forward the improvement method and way to examine the result of improvement from the aspect of the internal institute, review organizations, the customers, the contractor and the supervision unit, then comes up with some supporting measures in terms of the establishment of assurance system, regulators, staff training, the interface of internal management information system and the internal rewards and punishment measures. This paper is a exploration of the using standardization for the design industry in civil design, to provide the reference of concepts and methods to the application of the standardization for all the specializations of design industry. The paper has some application values for the development of X Design Institute, and also provides has some values of reference for other design enterprise.
