With the rapid development of economy in our country, the increasing progress of technology, the demand of people’s living standard and life quality is also becoming higher. To satisfy the development of the times and the needs of users, the concept of intelligent community and smart home has been emerged. The intelligent power meter reading system in our country is developing towards intelligence, automation, integration. Following the steps of software development, the research and development of intelligent Power Meter Reading Master Software has been accomplished. The main work in this thesis can be divided into four parts as follows:1. A new optimized structure is proposed based on the idea of function-detailed. In this structure, master software can be divided into two parts:the communication module and the management module. For this, the master system can be divided and cooperated according to the research direction and advantages of the project team members. The design and implemetation of management module is the emphasis in this issue.2. To improve the ease and reusability of development, the object-oriented technology and software architecture design method is applied to the meter reading master station system software research and development considering the aspect of software investment, operation and maintenance costs. First, the requirement of the whole system is analyzed. Then, the software of master station system model is established combined with the object-oriented modeling technology and the characteristics of master station system.3. The detailed design and realization of the human-computer interaction module is based on the software model. First, the detailed design of human-computer interaction module is completed. The flow diagram of function of each module is drawn. Then, the code programming of human-computer interaction module is accomplished. The human-computer interaction module is divided into3layers by the thought of layer, which is database access layer, business logic layer and user presentation layer. By this way, the efficiency of software development and running speed are improved. The readability and maintenance would be ensured. The human-computer interaction module is developed by Visual Studio2010. Join operations with SQL Server2008by ADO. C#is the primary language for programming. Finally, combined with other modules, the testing of master management module is completed in Electronic Engineering Center of Guangxi Normal University, which shows excellent effect. The master system can provide basic functions like data acquisition, data management, data analytics and integrated application. The application results show that the master station software model and software architecture are reasonable and effective, which is beneficial to reduce the complexity of software and improve the development efficiency and quality of software.4. The creation of tables and the establishment of E-R model are complicated. The database connection, database security and the query about big data are studied, which improves the efficiency of the entire system.
