The Research On Hunan Two-type Cemetery Landscape Plan

As the concept of two-oriented society (Resource-Economic and Environment Friendly Society) is put forward, all aspects of the construction of national economy shall conform to it. However, in the process of development and construction of traditional cemetery landscape, there is disharmony with the two-oriented society. In order to ease short supply of urban land resources and serious environmental destruction, the paper proposes plan and design idea for Hunan two-type of cemetery (eco-cemetery).Due to urbanization and population ageing in China, the embarrassment of struggling land occupation between the dead and the living has been emerged. Cemetery, how to play more functions as ecology, recreation, relaxation functions by means of rational plan, scientific and technological measures, has made this paper more valuable in social practice under the construction of two-oriented society.This paper’s main research contents and results are as follows:(1) Connotation and position of two-type cemetery;(2) Through introducing the development and evolution of both Chinese and foreign cemeteries, summarize the characteristics of cemetery in different classification;(3) Design a practicable cemetery landscape pattern on the basis of the requirements of two-oriental society and inheriting Hunan culture.(4) Take Tangren Wanshou cemetery in Changsha as an example, verified the practicality and utility of this landscape pattern.On the basis of referring to related design and research data of cemetery at home and abroad, site visiting to excellent cemeteries in China and abroad, specially the cemeteries around Changsha, the paper makes research on modern cemetery landscape, find out the characters and design concept of two-type cemetery and also expresses the above characters and design concept in the design of Changsha Tangren Wanshou cemetery.The paper takes Changsha Tangren Wanshou Cemetery as a design example to build the two-type cemetery with reasonable overall layout by means of artificial way, adjusting local conditions, obtains a park-style cemetery through diversified buried mode and planting which can meet the requirement of eco-cemetery under the two-oriented society and fully play the functions of ecology, economy and culture.
