The formation of Zhang Guying settlement is spontaneous and accidental, which has accumulated rich historical and cultural heritage, and has created distinctive features about landscape spatial pattern. Used Zhang Guying village as subject to study, it has a certain significance that the inheriting, developing and updating of ancient villages, protecting historical and cultural heritages, and the continuation of characteristics about Chinese traditional rural settlement.To realise the reason of Zhang Guying Village landscape spatial pattern forming, the author analyze the spatial form of Zhang Guying village, dig up to its influencing factors and present its concrete forms from three parts of etiquette, clan and blood, which used different methods, such as literature retrieval, field study, system analysis, and based on the theory of cultural anthropology and structure function.1、 With the expansion of the population, Zhang Guying settlement continues to expand outwardly. In the formation process, the social relationship structure is always in control of cell proliferation and spatial form’s changes as the nucleus of DNA. In the absence of architects, planners, the situation remains the orderly formation and unique style of landscape spatial form.2、 Zhang Guying settlement is formed based on constrained ritual ideas. Then whether spatial form, size composition, functional layout or ratio scale, decorative colors in Zhang Guying village, are fully reflected on the hierarchical order, respect of the dominant center.3、 Zhang Guying village is typical settlements with a single surname clan. It has superior unity and cohesion because of the core elements. Therefore, we can know no matter how the history promotes and how settlements evolve, its external shape and internal morphology of buildings all present centripetal space patterns, which looks like dispersed, whereas it is not.4、 The generating and the development process of Zhang Guying architecture, along with the closeness of blood relationship, the space corresponding to the hierarchical form shows a gradient. Performance for the group in the construction of houses to the originators of the core point, their members have closer kinship, they feel stronger sense of identity, their residence are closer, the more recent groups close to the main axis. On this basis, the layers have been advancing in order to build a network of relationships of affinity plane.Overall, the build process of Zhang Guying settlement landscape spatial form is not a single building disorder heap, but relying on the relationship between people, people and communities, groups and between groups in blood, clan, ritual under the influence of other factors arising from the establishment of space limitation, layout, and combine in a dynamic interaction through the permutations and combinations of other factors, eventually forming an orderly, neat rigorous, distinctive human cultural landscape.
