Since the reform and opening up, the rapid development of China’s national economyand social, however extensive, excessive development model devastated the natural resources,leading to the overall deterioration of environmental conditions. Followed by the study of theecological environment of continuous innovation, the "key ecological function zones" in the"National MFOZ" is first taked, and cleared the protection of key ecological function zones isrelated to the ecological security. This article is based on the current development Lveyangkey ecological function zones, in order to resolve the contradictions of environmentconstruction and protection of the ecological goal. Had an in-depth study of the national keyecological function areas protection and construction planning strategies.This paper inoduced the topics of the background, intention, meaning and research status.Analyzes the general situation of Lveyang, comes to a complete, objective that cancomprehensive response Lveyang ecological status of the evaluation system. Indicator systemincludes five-level indicators (natural ecological indicators, environmental status indicators,the natural ecological indicators of biological diversity class, the class of natural ecologicalindicators of water conservation and ecological environment quality management indicators),a total of22secondary indicators. Conducted Lueyang ecological function zoning, dividedinto4compound area and9subregions, each subregion divided into2forbidden access area,3key access area,3restriched access areas and1optimization access area,and drew a map ofecological function zoning by using coredraw. Delineated the eco-red of Lveyang which itstotal areas ccounts for30.85percent of the land area. It is consist of nature reserves, scenicspots, forest parks, drinking water source protection areas, significant water conservationareas and species of special protected areas. From the development and utilization of waterresources, soil and water conservation and pollution prevention and energy conservation andother aspects of Lveyang Carried out the ecological and environmental protection from theplanning and implementation of ecological agriculture, ecological industry, ecologicalenvironment, environmental protection and governance and infrastructure in five areas.
