Wetlands have important ecological functions,wetland ecosystem s provide significant benefit to human being.In the world today,as th e natural wetlands are decreaseing and disappearing,the feasibility of artificial wetlands is shown,the artificial wetland park constructio n which combines environmental protection with eco-tourismis grow ing rapidly.Changting is typical in southern red soil erosion in C hina.Water and Soilloss cause serious damages to the local people’s production and livingwhich has been One of the major limiting fact or in thedevelopment of local society andeconomy.Water and Soilloss of Changting has been gradually contained and the ecological environme nt has been improved to a certain extentafter several years’ manageme nt.How to further consolidate changting’s achievement of water and soil Conservation,improve ecological function of vegetationin erode d soil and Promote thedevelopment of the local ecological environm ent and socialeconomy has been current major problems needed to be resolved.Therefore,Changting sets aboutconstructing wetland park which highlights the characteristics of soil erosion regionwith the s upports of the departments of the state forestry Administration.Altho ugh in recent years,there are massive studies about artificial wetl and park construction at home and abroad,but the southern red soile rosion area construction of artificial wetland park attempts and exper iences are extremely rare.Given this,Tingjiang River wetland park of Changting is selec ed as the research object.Analyze the distribution of the resources a nd discuss the district planningand different functions of wetland pa rk through complete investigation in lands,plants,animals,landscape and culture of Tingjiang River wetland park of Changting,analyze ecological conservation value of wetland p ark in aspects of soil,plants,water,air,noise,and historical culture,dia gnose and analyze the eco-tourism value and functions of wetland park through calculation for environmental capacity and analysis for tourist market of SWOT.And on this basis,valuing ecological,economic and social benefits of wetland park,analyzing the plann ing and designing problems on wetland park construction,make sugg estions to explore the cultural landscape,educate scientific talent and Strengthen the science education,establish and perfect a coordinatin g mechanism for protection and use of wetland.The object is to pro vide valuable theoretical guidance and practical reference for eco-fu nctional zones planning of wetland park in eroded red soil through further consolidating the achievement of water and soil conservation o f Changting.The results prove that:(1)Types of land-use of Tingjiang River wetland park are wit h riverine wetland,artificial wetland,wetland types are with perman ent river,The flood plain wetland,Lake and pond,rice field,landt ypes are with forest and non-forest,accounts for about 18.6%and 81.4%of total area.Main wetland types are permanent river and th e flood plain wetland,accounts for about 73.2%of total area.(2)Wetland park has vascular plant species as a total of 115 su ch plants Branch,304 genera and 424 species,ferns as a total of 19 suc h plants Branch,25 genera and 32 species,gymnosperms as a total of 5 such plants Branch,5 genera and 5 species,angiosperms as a tota 1 of 88 such plants Branch,274 genera and 387 species.Of the 49 s pecies found on Grass family,is the most in plant resources of Ting jiang River wetland park,33 are composite family,21 are cyperace ae,20 are legumes,more than 10 are rosaceae family,euphorbiace ae,rubiaceous and Polygonaceae.There are 180 kinds of Wild vert ebrates in the Tingjiang River wetland park,fish as a total of 57 sp ecies in 13 families of 5 orders,amphibian as a total of 7 species in 3 f amilies,reptiles as a total of 20 species in 7 families,birds as a to tal of 81 species in 34 families of 81 orders,mammals as a total of 15 species in 10 families of 6 orders.There are the class II protected spe cie tiger frog and eel,national protected animal species in Fujian prov ince of China are tire track eel and egret,,with 8 fish specialities of Tingjiang River such as Pseudogastromyzon fasciatus of Changting.Wetland park is the important habitat for tire track eel ’ s repro duction,which is the national(category ii)protected wild plant.It is also the algae’ s specific distribution area,the Zoysia sinica whi ch is the national(category ii)protected wild plant’ s specific dist ribution area,has the important scientific value.(3)Water of Tingjiang River wetland park reaches the nation al second Class GB3 83 8—2002 standards.Orchard and Pinus masso niana forest land soilreaches the middle first ClassGB 15618—1995 standards.Farml and soil reaches the second Class GB15618—1995 standards,the Soil has good quality.wetland park has fresh air,the air quality r eaches GB3095—1996 Grade I standards,with the high air quality.m ost of the districts,environment quality reaches GB/T3096—2008 Gr ade 0 standards,the environment quality is good.(4)Tingjiang River wetland park has enrich waters sceneries,biology landscape,eographic landscapes,astronomical landscape and cultural resources.The main functional areas in the park are co nservation areas,accounts for about 71.4%of total area,secondly is propaganda and education areas,accounts for about 17.3%%of tota 1 area,eco-tourism and service areas account for about 11.2%%of to tal area.The construction of a complete wetland ecosystem could assure the stability and sustainability of ecological system,being the important considerations for Tingjiang River wetland park’s plann ing.Rational layouts and controlled partition are beneficial to protect t he wetland ecosystem,improve water quality,enrich biodiversity.(5)Changting is one of the counties which has the worst soi 1 erosion in red soil region in southern China,being the typical granit e red soilregion of Southern China.Its serious extent of water and s oil loss of Changting is ranked top in the Fujian province which has t he long history,wide area,serious extent,damage effects,especially in Sanzhou and Hetian town.It’s significant to set Tingjiang River wetla nd park as an example to recover ecological restoration and control water and soil loss to exploit development of Turpan rural ecotouris m in eroded area of red soil.(9)Wetland park’ s planning has the problems of simple,M odeling,park-style,gardenized phenomenon.the management syste m should be straightened out,the technology is much less explicit.It is urged to enhance the functions of Wetland park in protec ting typical riverine wetlands and characteristic species of Tingjiang River,feeding the Hakka people on both sides of Tingjiang River,consolidating Changting’s achievement of water and soil conserv ation,restoring Changting’s species’habitat,enriching biodiversity.
