The vehicle is the main transportation for logistics now. On many occasions, inorder to ensure that the quality of goods (such as fresh agricultural products) isn’tchanged in the process of transport, the logistics company and the owners would liketo conduct goods vehicle microenvironment with real-time monitoring. This paperproposes and designs a new vehicle surveillance by using the technology of theInternet of Things (IOT), and implements it effectively. The proposed system mainlyconsists of two parts: the vehicle environment surveillance terminal and thesurveillance center of microenvironment.(1) The vehicle surveillance terminal is an onboard embedded system based onARM and Android. By uploading the mobile App developed in the paper, the widelyused intelligent mobile phone or tablet computer can be directly transformed to thevehicle environment monitoring terminal. Thus, it greatly reduces the application costof the proposed micro environment monitoring system. The microenvironmentsurveillance terminal mainly has the following functions:Through the WiFi module of the surveillance terminal, all kinds of informationare collected from the wireless sensor network inside or outside the vehicle,and then viewed as the visualization form in the terminal interface display.Therefore, the onboard staff can timely know the microenvironment of thegoodsThrough the WiFi module of the surveillance terminal, the drive controls thenodes in the wireless control network inside and outside the car, thereby,opening or closing the corresponding execution mechanism (such asair-conditioning, humidifier, plus oxygen machine and so on) to control thevehicle microenvironment. Through the intelligent calculation module of the surveillance terminal, theinformation detected from the wireless sensor network is processedintelligently, and with the corresponding result of the treatment, the wirelesscontrol network is automatically driven.Through WiFi module and3G module on the surveillance terminal, the datatransmitted between the vehicle wireless sensor/control network andmonitoring center.The instant communication of mobile terminal and surveillance center throughthe mobile Internet.(2)The development of the vehicle environment surveillance center system is basedon the B/S pattern and J2EE architecture.The surveillance terminal logins on-boardmicroenvironment surveillance center mainly through mobile Internet, and staysonline. The microenvironment surveillance center mainly has the following functions:The surveillance center store all kinds of information of the wireless sensornetwork microenvironment which are transmitted through the surveillanceterminal in the database, and visualize the form in the control center of theWebpage display, so thatstaff can view front the information of vehiclemicroenvironment remotely.Through the mobile Internet, the surveillance center use XMPP protocol to pushcontrol commands to the front end of the vehicle wireless control network, sothe vehicle microenvironment is controlled.Through the intelligent calculation module running on the server, thesurveillance center can provide cloud computing services to the front vehiclemonitoring terminalThrough GPS positioning uploaded by the surveillance terminal, the surveillancecenter position the vehicle in real-time and dynamically, so that staff canunderstand the real-time vehicle location and path.The surveillance of vehicle microenvironment has been tested, and the trial in thesmall size range.
