Research On The Social Impact Assessment Of Engineering Project By Structureal Equation Modeling

In recent years, with the continuous development of social economy, thecontinuous improvement of social productivity, the whole society is in an era of rapiddevelopment, all sorts of engineering project with different properties and functions arealso accelerating. And nowadays under the concept of "people-oriented" and"sustainable development", the impact of the project is not only limited to theevaluation of economic, but also more attention to its influence on social variousaspects, so as to realize the bidirectional promotion of social and economic benefits.Although, at present the social impact assessment of engineering project is takenseriously increasingly, because of that the social impact assessment involves manyaspects factors, it is not yet formed a systematic and complete system. In view of this,based on the structural equation model, this paper studies the theory and method ofevaluating the social impact of the project by adopting the method of combiningtheoretical analysis and empirical analysis.First of all, the thesis summarized the social impact assessment of the concept,characteristics, principles, and studied participatory problem, poverty problems,ethnicissues, immigration problems, and gender issues in the process of social impactassessment, such as research, and analyzed the the scope of the macro and micro forthe social impact assessment of engineering project.Second, this paper analyses the evaluation index system of the social impactassessment of engineering project. First the paper selected evaluation indexes by theliterature research and optimized the index by applying statistical analysis method,finding out the most suitable index system of the social impact assessment ofengineering project. Then the paper analyzed the project evaluation common methodsand selected an evaluation method of structural equation model for paper, andexpatiates on the theory of structural equation model, and then established the theorystructural equation model for the social impact assessment of engineering project.Finally, the paper using the structural equation model to analyze data through thequestionnaire investigation, and to modify the model optimization, and verify therationality of the calculation results, finally reached the conclusion that the relationshipbetween the observed variables and the latent variables and between the latent variables, and analyzed the verification results and puts forward the correspondingsuggestion based on the shortcomings of the thesis studies.Through the application ofstructural equation model, the paper evaluated the engineering project’s influence onthe social difference, hoping to provide a more perfect evaluation system and a betterevaluation method for the various effects produced in the process of the construction ofthe engineering project,in order to avoid the adverse effects and prevention through therational analysis of the evaluation results, and improve the quality of projectdecision-making and implementation effect, realizing the coordinated development ofthe project and social sustainable development...
