Spaceflight launching is one of the dangerous scientific activities, and how to keepthe safety of the workers is a key point in the research filed. Crowd evacuation in caseof emergency is one of such point. The forepassed evacuation schemes were worked outmostly by intuitionistic sense and simply based on the assumption that the pedestianswere rational and the evacuation wasin order, which was too critical to the commonworkers.This paper is dedicated to constructing the evacuation model of pedestrians in the921umbilical tower and finally establishing the simulation system. We analyzed thecharacteristic features of the buildings and the distribution of the pedestrians in detail,and achieved our target in the following three aspects. Firstly, in theory aspect, we studythe psychic performance of the pedestrians, and establish the relationship of the pushingmodel between pedestrians with the relative location of the pedestrians based on thesocial force model, and the distance measurement between pedestrians and the desiredvelocity model in the stair room is constructed. We also present the controlling model ofthe pedestrian at the point of room transformation. Secondly, in method aspect, wepropose a method to model the buildings, and give the optimized algorithms of the allthe model used in the system. Finally, in applications, we establish an evacuationsimulation system to simulate the whole escaping course for each mission, find theweakness and crowd points in the routes, evaluate the evacuation time and thepercentage of injuries, and finally improve the escaping plan.After the application of the recently missions, such as Shenzhou7,8and Tiangong,and many practical escaping experiments, the results show that, the system works verywell and it is very important to reduce the risk the workers during their work in theumbilical tower.
