Study On The Design Of Multi-family Balconyin Northern Jiangsu

Because of the flourishing realty business and the improvement of the living qualities, sogreater requests of living environment are put forward in recent years. The residence type hasbeen changed from extensive to refined now, and the key point that people keep a watchful eyeon has no longer been the Floor space of residential buildings or how far is the building awayform the other but the humanity, the comfort level and the detail design. The balconies shouldmeet the psychological needs as the main elements of residence, but architects did not payenough attention in actual projects. There are also many defective design which result in the lackunderstanding of architectural function and the connotation of house balcony. So resident arelooking forward to the develop of balconies, which made the house balconies become one of thesubjects that architect should focus on.Firstly this article analyzed the concept of balcony, and by making a summary of thehistorical evolution of the balcony in our country made the essential function of balcony moreclear: openness and extensionality. Then by doing intensive research of the balcony design theory,thinking of the influence of basic elements, construction technology and space function structurein the same time, came to a conclusion that the balcony development tendency is spaceseparation and limit fuzziness.Based on the above-mentioned studies, this article did some research on psychologicalbehavior in the balcony space of the amalgamated dwelling in the north Jiangsu province inorder to direct design practice, which summarized the regional mode of construction and made aseries of suggestions for the exiting problems. According to these studies, to go a step further,this article studied summarized the balcony plan and facade design, the energy-saving design, therelationship between balcony and other spaces, the safety specification and the balcony positionin the house. To sum up in conclusion, the healthy and orderly development of balcony willenhance the harmonious coexistence between people and the natural environment, will promotethe further development of regional culture and interpersonal relationship, will save theecosystem and improve the ecological environment of our living spaces.
