Research On Design Of Semi Outdoor Public Recreative Space Of Resort Hotels In Hainan

Since the reform and opening up, the economy of China continued to improve.Ourcountry started to build a moderately prosperous society. After meeting people’s needs ofbasic living, we begin to have the energy to pursue a higher quality of life. Combined withmodern people’s life continuing to accelerate the pace of work, people have to gain more orless pressure in working and living, people are in urgent need of some leisure time andleisure activities to relax and relieve stress. Meanwhile, combining the leisure, vacation andsocial activities together also becomes an important way about modern leisure.Traditionalleisure activities has been difficult to meet modern needs, therefore, tourist resort industryhas become a moderna rapidly developing industry.As Hainan is in the tropical climate, it is very closure indoors and very hot outdoors.So,The semi-outdoor public recreation space has become the preferred way for people to relax onvacation, as a result, the design of semi-outdoor public recreation space is particularlyimportant. At present, the relevant building codes descriptions is still not clearly definedthethe semi-outdoor public recreation space, and there is little paper or book systematicallyintroducing the design of these semi-outdoor public recreation space in Hainan resort hotels.So,this paper choose it as a research object, hoping to summarize some of the designstrategies of the semi-outdoor public recreation space in Hainan resort hotels.The main content of this paper is divided into six chapters:Chapter I is the part of questions. It describes the background, purpose, meaning, statusand research methods of the thesis;Chapter II is the part of the describtion of the research object. It describes thecharacteristics of Hainan resort hotels and the semi-outdoor public recreation space in Hainanresort hotels;Chapter III is the part of analyzing the problem.Through the field research of Hainanresort hotels, I compare the location, composition, scale, layout, function, interface andregional of these semi-outdoor public recreation space in Hainan resort hotels and summarizethe advantages and disadvantages as well as the causes of the disadvantages about theresearch object;Chapter IV is the part of analyzing the problem.Based on the field research data, Isummarize all kinds of factors influnencing the design of the semi-outdoor public recreationspace in Hainan resort hotels, such as climate, landscape, local culture, functional andpsychological influences; Chapter V is the part of solving the problem.The paper explains the design strategies ofthe semi-outdoor public recreation space in Hainan resort hotels from the aspects of spatiallocation, spatial composition, spatial scale, spatial form, spatial function, spatial interface andspatial regional in detail;Chapter VI is the part of integrating theory with practice.Combined with the author’spractice project——the Spa Resort Hotel in Qixianling, Baoting County, HainanProvince,the paper describes the way to use the design strategies in the actual project design,in order to make the readers easy to understand.
