Research On The Control Elements Of Urban Waterfront Area In The View Of Regional Landscape Planning

The linear urban waterfront area is one of the largest area where acrossing anumber of different areas, involving the subject, fluidity and continuity. In traditionalsense, the waterfront landscape planning mainly for shaping the physical space, is apractice to be conducted by "blueprint" type of final outcome oriented. With thechanging of the diversity of the main body and implementation cycle, the originalblueprint for the ultimate often can not be implemented in site design and spaceplanning, and only hold in the planning stage, and there has been a huge gap from theideals to practice. Among all the reasons,the missing of the regional level landscapeplanning, the lack of overall guidelines about the master planning on the next design,the lack of planning control, the rigid of "blueprint " type of guiding all are non-negligible aspect.Based on the above problems, this paper attempts to study the the selection of thecontrol elements, the construction of graphic guidelines, the guide of control strategy tothe lower planning design based on visual angle of regional landscape planning and theplan of the macro level. Study the the operation processes of control elements of thelandscape in the actual case, and confirm the the "bridge " and " media " role thatcontrol elements plays in the planning and design combing with the "LandscapeConceptual Plan for the Yulin River in Chongqing" and waterfront landscape designunder the guidance of this case, in order to provide a reference to the next urbanwaterfront landscape planning projects.The paper structure is follow the vertical logic of" questions-analysis andreference-solutions and strategies-actual case verification", and include the followingsections:The first part including the first and second chapter is mainly about the basicresearch and the integration of the common problems, which was to define the the maintarget and related concepts of the specific research, summarize the characteristics UrbanWaterfront and propose the issues of waterfront landscape planning currently facing.The second part including the third chapter is mainly about the concept, theory,compound system and operation method of the regional landscape, which analysedthree successful domestic and international urban waterfront development scenarios toprovide theoretical support for the research and experience.The third part including the fourth chapter is mainly about the method to solve the problem,, which contain establishing research framework of urban waterfront landscape,combined with research centers of landscape design issues, and summarize controlstrategy and implementation of the impact of ecology, function, image, and,culturalelements in urban waterfront landscape planning.The fourth part including the fifth and sixth chapter is mainly about the utilize ofthe element selected and the teletext guide in design by “Landscape Conceptual Planfor the Yulin River”, analysis the guide of the control elements on the lower planningand design by “Landscape Design of Waterfront Green Space of Yulin River（near bythe Liangjiang Film Studio）”, and finally present the main achievements, and discussthe inadequacies at the conclusion.
