Research On Urban Waterfront Landscape Design Under The Inheritance Of Regional Culture

Water is indispensable in nature.The urban waterfront is an important ecological environment in cities and towns,and it is also one of the areas where human beings have the closest contact with nature.In addition to the water resources needed for living,human beings have a high degree of hydrophilic nature and live by water.As a very important open area in the town,the waterfront is a good place for human beings to carry out outdoor leisure and information and cultural interaction activities.At the same time,the town is built by the water and developed by the water system is a key node to reflect the appearance of the town.How to give the town waterfront landscape with good environmental ecology,show the obvious regional characteristics of the town and create multiple,characteristic sustainable design;both cultural flavor is important to the development of today town waterfront landscape.A town’s regional culture is a reflection of the town’s history,mountains and rivers,folklore and other civilizations;it is also a comprehensive environment that combines humanity and nature.As a concrete form of cultural expression,any design of a town’s landscape should fully respect the regional culture,so as to enhance the recognisability of the town’s landscape and strengthen the town’s historical and cultural heritage.This paper takes the heritage of regional culture as the starting point,and through literature,theoretical research and field research,it analyses and studies how to show regional culture in the waterfront landscape of towns and cities.It explores the integration and inheritance of regional,interactive and cultural aspects in the waterfront landscape and reflects them in the application of the Juxi landscape belt.The thesis firstly establishes the theoretical framework for this research in the basic theory section;it provides a detailed discussion of the concepts of waterfront landscape,regional culture and heritage and examines of the relationship between regional cultural heritage and waterfront landscape of the town.Secondly,the regional culture of Chongxin County is the classified and summarised into four categories:historical culture,natural culture,architectural culture and folk culture;and research or analysis of the landscape zone of Juxi in Chongxin county.It’s carried out to the summarises the existing problems.Then,through the analysis of waterfront landscape design cases with regional cultural heritage at home and abroad,aspect that can-be learned from them.Through the above research,the study of the expression regional cultural heritage in the waterfront landscape design is summarised,that’s including the excavation and heritage of regional culture in urban waterfront landscapes;the use of regional culture in waterfront landscape heritage points;the principles of waterfront landscape design under regional cultural heritage.And the use of the regional cultural heritage in waterfront landscape methods;the study of the strategy of regional herit-al cultural heritage in waterfront landscape five aspects.Finally,the design of the landscape belt of Juxi County’s.Juxi Creek is used as an example to explore in depth the real-life application of waterfront landscape design research on regional cultural heritage.It is hoped that this will provide some case guidance for the design of waterfront landscapes in other towns.
