Research On Of Urban Waterfront Landscape Design Based On Regional Characteristic

With the rapid development of urbanization and globalization,people’s lives are becoming more and more same,urban characteristics are not obvious,and the regional characteristic are hindered.Several topics of urban development are concerned,including how to adapt and utilize the natural conditions of the site,continue the regional culture,and create a city waterfront space landscape design that belonging to the local,belonging to the times,and belonging to the local people.This paper considers how to respect and use the regional characteristics to design the landscape of the city waterfront space.The combination of theory and practice attempts to create a certain enlightenment in the practical application of similar projects.This thesis starts from the current research on the lack of landscape personality in urban public space and the development of waterfront space in China.The paper discusses the regional characteristics research and development of urban waterfront landscape through the domestic and foreign research.The concept and composition of site features are described.In this paper,the author studied the site,identify the site resources,analyze the natural environment,human environment,social environment characteristics and how to express it on the landscape,then the design principles and key points of the city waterfront space based on the regional characteristics are summarized.Which emphasized the importance of regional characteristics for urban waterfront space designing and benefits to the economic,social and ecological.In this paper,the author selects several domestic and international related cases including North Duisburg Landscape Park in Germany,Baita Park in Hangzhou,Suzhou Jinji Lake,Hangzhou West Lake and Lake District Huanhu Park in Jinyang Shanxi.By analyzing and evaluating it,the author summarizes the experience.According to the above,the landscape planning and design of the Mazhaichi waterfront space in Keqiao District of Shaoxing City was carried out to create the characteristic landscape of Keqiao city.The above theory is applied in the project to test the feasibility.
