| This paper studied the design and development of the full-functioned G-70 LC CNC Lathe with a maximum machining diameter of 700 mm and a maximum processing length of 3000 mm. A design framework of the full-functioned G-70 LC CNC Lathe is proposed in related to overall concept design of the CNC lathe, Mechanical structure design, electric control design, trial manufacturing of the CNC lathe and product type testing.Firstly, the overall structure design of a CNC lathe and the key components design is analyzed in accordance with the requirements for design of machine tools and some specific technology schemes. The corresponding measures for key technique design are also proposed along with the detailed technical parameters, the preliminary 3D modeling and the preliminary design scheme of electric control.Secondly, in view of the Mechanical structure design, the design schemes for some key components are proposed in pertinent to the design of lathe bed, spindle units and sub-spindle units, vertical and horizontal feed system, workpiece clamping system and automatic tool change system, hydraulic system, lubrication system and cooling system.Thirdly, by using the modular design of electrical control standardization, the design scheme of electric control are explicitly analyzed in according to the electrical system configuration, main power circuit, AC and DC control circuits, PLC control, etc. Finally, the detailed process for trial manufacturing of the CNC lathe and product type testing are analyzed in related to development prepare, machining process, product assembly, type test. The detailed measures for the difficulties inherent in the trial manufacturing and type testing are also proposed for further improvement. |
