Study On Micro Storage Furniture In College Students’ Dormitory Storage Culture

College dormitory culture plays an important role in the campus life which is the aggregation of material culture, spiritual culture, system culture and behavioral culture and a kind of community culture formed by the experience of learning and living together. The dormitory storage culture is put forward on the basis of college dormitory culture. The storage culture of college dormitory is the systematic study on "People-Organize Objects-Storage Space", and the research about science and culture in the field of the current situation of college dormitory and furniture storage.Micro storage furniture is a humanized storage furniture.People often use it for the living or work convenient in the daily life or social activities in a small space.This paper will discuss the design of micro-storage of furniture on the basis of artistic design, and studies on it viewed from the storage space of college students and their requirements on storage. The design of micro-storage of furniture can save space and store more conveniently. What’s more, it possesses more advantages through the combination with relative compactness. It will improve the rationality of division of functional areas and expand the actual living space of college students as well. And it will drive them to develop a habit of organizing their own things and promote the development of the learning condition and capacity of self-organizing of college students.This paper will also discuss the relationship among storage space, storage objects, storage behaviors and micro-storage of furniture through study on the dormitory storage culture and design of micro-storage of furniture. The author will compare and analyze the main storage furniture of college dormitory currently in the study of the development and characteristic of micro-storage furniture and introduce its features and functions, and illustrate that micro-storage furniture is the material carrier of realizing the goal of rationalize the storage space of college dormitory. Through study on the design method of micro-storage furniture, the author will discuss the its design element, design requirement and design method. Chapter four of this paper will put the design method of micro-storage furniture into practice with reality through the investigation and survey of the college dormitories of many universities in Hunan Province, and then further illustrate the profound realistic meanings of study on the design of micro-storage furniture on the basis of the dormitory storage culture.
