Research On Dormitory Furniture Design Of University Students Based On Human-computer Environment ——A Case Study Of East China Normal University

The enrollment scale of colleges and universities in China is increasing year by year,and the number of college students is increasing rapidly.Dormitory furniture can not meet the diversified needs of college students.Whether the design of dormitory furniture is reasonable or not is directly related to the physical and mental health of students.However,the interior environment and furniture of most colleges and universities in Our country still maintain a single,old design form,which only meets the basic living needs of students.For contemporary college students who pay attention to the improvement of life quality and the creation of personal space,dormitory furniture has not achieved a more effective innovation breakthrough in meeting their higher needs.The contradiction between college students' increasing demand for a better life and unbalanced and unreasonable dormitory furniture design needs to be solved urgently.The paper aims to design concept based on human-machine-environment system,more in-depth analysis was carried out on the university dormitory furniture research and innovation design,make its in the planning of the space layout and function more in line with the behavior of college students,to meet the diversity of college students from the physical to the psychological needs,at the same time make maximum use of the limited dormitory space,in order to form a coordinated and unified system design of "student-furniture-environment".This paper adopts literature research,field research,questionnaire research,user interview and other research methods,taking human-machine-environment system as the theoretical basis for the dormitory furniture product design practice.Taking East China Normal University as an example,the author conducted field research and analysis on the space environment and furniture status quo of the dormitory.Starting from the daily behavior habits of college students,the author explored the real needs and pain points of college students for dormitory furniture,and explored the innovative furniture design strategies suitable for college dormitories.Including increased and refine receive a space,change furniture combination form,build independent personal space,the innovation in the form of social area and colorful material collocation methods,in order to provide diversified design ideas for the future research on the design of student dormitory furniture,and make the university student dormitory furniture improve in the direction of more meeting the needs of college students and more in line with the development of the times.
