Design And Research On Universal Bed Saddle Production Line

This paper was a research on the bed saddle of the universal CNC machine, which main purpose was to shorten the manufacturing cycle of the universal bed saddle and to reduce the manufacturing cost. It analyzed the process of the saddle, production line layout and workshop site management presently, fond out the main problems existing in the production site, and also revealed the necessity and feasibility of improving the processing production line of the bed saddle production line as well as the enterprise. According to the theory of lean production, the production site of large processing workshop was improved and optimized. The optimizational design of the bed saddle machining process,the constructive design of production line,the application of pentahedral machining center equipment, the optimization of auxiliary time in production and the promotion of 7S management method, made the saddle processing time which was shortened from the original 7 days to 2.5 days.Meanwhile the processing cost was dropped by 236 Yuan. It could save 566,700 Yuan annually for the enterpriseon manufacturing cost and the expected target of this research was achieved basically.The design and research of bed saddle production line provided a successful experience for the similar products. Besides, it’s necessarily to promote other production line using this plan gradually, to improve the use value of enterprises processing equipments that in existence and to widely reduce production costs.
