Currently, domestic dangerous chemicals are always stacked in the warehouse; the distance between the stacking goods is one of the most important parameters of the safety state. "The storage of hazardous chemicals commonly used in General" has proposed strict requirements for the five-distance, such as stacking heap distance from the wall, roof pitch, column spacing and channels distance, but there is no effective method to monitor the five distances.In this paper, an method for monitoring stacking "five-distance" based on warehouse positioning technology is proposed, the positional parameters of goods and information about cargo piled size were used to reconstruct the warehousing of goods stacked, so as to monitor hazardous chemicals storage in real time. As higher indoor positioning accuracy is required, ultra-wideband (UWB) technology was used and the static and dynamic characteristics of tracking and positioning of warehousing goods were studied to monitor the "five distance" of hazardous chemicals warehouse stacking. For the problems about UWB positioning accuracy and stability, in the analysis of the main factors affecting UWB positioning accuracy in the hazardous chemicals storage environments, for example, multipath effect, lack of direct path etc., an UWB-based four reference vectors compensation method applied on dangerous chemicals warehouse stacking positioning was put forward. In the method, the positioning of the four adjacent reference point position error vector were used to correct targeting values, According to experiments, the results showed that it can improve the positioning accuracy of storage of hazardous chemicals, it is suitable for monitoring of the "five distance" of hazardous chemicals warehouse stacking.The paper’s work showed that this method can effectively improve the positioning precision of the dangerous chemicals warehouse stacking, it is suitable for monitoring the five distance of hazardous chemicals warehouse stacking.
